3 is the magic number!

Our little Homer guy turned three this weekend. Three!?!

Friday (the actual birthday) started with some serious gift opening, including this awesome forklift tractor from John's mom, aka Nana. (Not pictured is the book + $1 under the plate or the FaceTime chat with the Salcedo's)

Later that day, we went bowling.

The opportunity to compare the guy's head to a bowling ball couldn't be passed up. My babies have large noggins!

That evening, we had ice-cream with a "brown" candle and a song, of course.

Saturday started with pancakes.

And later a visit from C+B and some ridiculously adorable and tasty maple cupcakes adorned with homemade pennants (photo taken by B:).

On Sunday, we ventured into the city to meet up with grandma+grandpa & auntie Jenna+baby Henry at the global market.

The maple cupcakes (on a custom tray:) were a hit, but there were truck plates, because the birthday boy wanted a cake with an H on it.

So mama made one.

Tommy C was there!

And baby Nelson (eating a dinosaur, naturally).

And some lovely ladies (photo taken by Jenna, who somehow didn't make any of the photos? I blame babies:).

And Seeley was there too, Homer's 27 buddy, born just a month before on 1/27.

Yay, happy three, HZC!!!
